This is an excellent text on the special theory of relativity. Several uploads of this text are available on this site, but I have added the OCR layer to this file (so you can copy and highlight text), synchronized the pdf page numbers with the book's page numbers, and added a bookmarked table of contents for easy access.

This text was published in 1968. Years later, Robert Resnick added some of the contexts of this text to the later editions of the famous University textbook, "Physics for Scientists and Engineers with Modern Physics" by Resnick and Halliday. But this text gives a more complete and rigorous treatment of special relativity than the later physics textbooks by Resnick and Halliday, and It remains an often referenced, classic text.
